Breakfast

At The Ellenby we feel passionately that breakfast is important, providing the ideal start to the day before exploring Scarborough and the surrounding area.

Our breakfast room has splendid sea views and guests have been known to abandon their food when dolphins have been spotted.

We offer a selection of fresh fruit, yoghurts, toast, juice, croissants, cereals, porridge and, of course, a classic full English breakfast cooked to order. Oh, and we don’t forget those little details like providing marmite and Nutella.

Where possible we source our ingredients locally and use M Nockels butchers, based in Scarborough Market, a family business trading for over 100 years. Their thick bacon and tasty sausages receive regular compliments.

Vegetarians, vegans and celeriacs are also catered for, ideally informing us in advance of any special requirements.
